Michael has been an integral part of the SDHR Consulting team since 2021, bringing expertise in employee relations, training and development, organizational development, mentoring, and HR investigations.

What Michael loves most about his role is the collaborative work environment, the exceptional resources available, and the independence to deliver impactful HR solutions. His goal is to ensure client satisfaction while continuing to grow both professionally and personally.

Outside of HR, Michael is a passionate poet and the proud author of Life in Lyric. He enjoys writing and reciting poetry, as well as spending quality time with his family and adorable grandkids.

Degrees & Certifications
Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York, and a Master’s Degree in Psychology from United States International University (now Alliant International University). He also authored and published a training and development textbook during his time teaching at UCSD Extension.

What are your hobbies or passions outside of work?
Writing poetry, being an engaged parent and grandparent, traveling, visiting friends and family, attending baseball games, and rooting for the San Diego Padres.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure or celebrity, who would it be and why?
Ray Davies, brilliant singer/songwriter of The Kinks. I would have so many questions to ask him.

SDHRC Nickname “Mosko”
Michael was nicknamed “Mosko” when he worked with so many Mikes or Michaels as a way to differentiate him from the others, however, we feel “Mosko” is a consultant who definitely stands out from the rest, providing our clients with exceptional dedication and concern whether in training, compliance and employee relations.
