Following in her family’s footsteps of math and science, Laura Miller received her degree in Mathematical Economics from Scripps College in Claremont but got bit by the HR bug and followed with a Human Resources Management Certificate from Cal State San Marcos. Mix in Laura’s love of numbers and all things HR, and you have 15 plus years of experience ranging from training and development to payroll, benefits, compensation and even a little side of recruiting. Born and raised in San Diego, Laura and her family enjoy the sun year-round with occasional getaways to the mountains. Laura is a self-proclaimed Type A organizer who enjoys making checklists and checking off those boxes, baking, running, and jigsaw puzzles. Like her obsession with jigsaw puzzles, Laura is committed to solving HR complexities and ensuring the right fit for compliance and success, and that’s why we call her our HR Puzzle Solver.
